“Mafia 3” just arrived last week on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. The last version was released six years ago so this game sequel is the very first in a long time.
The release of the game’s third installment was made possible after Hangar 13 took over as its main developer. “Mafia” was originally developed by Illusion Works, now 2K Czech, but the team experienced problems so they cannot continue anymore.
Now, “Mafia 3” continues with the story of Lincoln Clay, but this time, he will find himself in New Bordeaux. His goal is to avenge the murder of the black mob so he is out to get the Italian Mafia group headed by Sal Marcano.
Clay needs support to succeed in his plan for revenge so he is working with three underbosses namely Cassandra, Thomas Burke and Vito Scaletta. It should be noted that although the “Mafia 3” Underbosses are typically loyal, they have the tendency to turn against their boss and this can happen if they are not assigned any districts that will be their territories in the gameplay.
“As you play through the game, you can assign out one of the nine districts to one of the underbosses,” lead writer Bill Harms said in an interview. “Depending on how the player assigns those districts, it can turn one of those underbosses against you.”
With the assignment of districts, players are able to unlock upgrades and perks like new weapons, vehicles, and special services. The guide below will show players the perks they can get from each of the “Mafia 3” underbosses. Moreover, the right districts to assign to them are also written as suggestions:
She is the leader of the Haitian gang in “Mafia 3” and player can have her after the completion of an intro in the gameplay. Her perks are mostly connected to the acquisition of weapons so obtaining any types of weapons is easy.
Cassandra is expert in shutting down mobile phones and she can easily call for backup when needed. The right districts for her are Bayou Fantom, Delray Hollow, and Barclay Mills.
He played as the protagonist in “Mafia 2” and when a player has him on his side, he can get the best arm support, enjoy better health and healing. Having him, a player will never have to make money deposits again because a courier will do it instead. Districts that are right for Vito are Downtown, River Row, and Southdowns.
He is widely known as an Irish Mob and having him will give the boss a fleet of nice vehicles and range of explosives. Police will also brush off some of your wicked actions if he is with you. Districts that are best for him are French Ward, Frisco Fields, and Tickfaw Harbor. Watch “Mafia 3” official launch trailer below.
