While it features some visible additions such as the changes in the team jerseys and substitution patterns, the 1992 Dream Team is finally functional and playable. Previously, those who pre-ordered “NBA 2K17” had complained that the revered 1992 Dream Team was not playable at all and this was noted by the developers and immediately responded with an update which came with that fix and much more.

It is also reported that the update also brings about overall changes in the home floor of some teams which include the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks. There are also some improvements in the uniforms in other teams like the Indiana Pacers jersey not features a patch which commemorates it 50th anniversary. As for gameplay, lob pass frequency has been substantially lowered while the pass speeds were significantly increased; substitutions made while on timeout are now immediately applicable and there is no more need to wait for the next dead ball.
