Wolfenstein 2 Releases Brutal, NSFW Gameplay Trailer

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is set to release on October 27, 2017, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and it comes out sometime in 2018 for Nintendo Switch.

Just yesterday, Bethesda and MachineGames released a gameplay teaser trailer for the forthcoming first-person shooter Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus that hinted at a much larger and more sumptuous clip to come. Today, the companies have made good on the tease, as the publisher and developer have now officially put out a brand new, and completely NSFW gameplay trailer showing how the title’s protagonist BJ Blazkowicz and his freedom fighter allies are gearing up to take down an alternative history Nazi regime that has occupied and ruined 1960s America.

As seen below in the latest Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus gameplay trailer entitled, “NO MORE NAZIS!”, Bethesda and MachineGames seem to have really pushed the boundaries of the title’s M-rated content, as the footage depicts plenty of violence, language, and even sexuality, with one scene, in particular, focusing on a rather comical situation involving two characters making love. To put it bluntly, though, folks would do well to skip watching the video at work altogether to avoid a potentially troublesome run-in with one’s boss.

According to the above trailer’s description, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus players will be thrown into a world where the Nazis have turned Manhattan into a wasteland, have walled off New Orleans, and are systematically destroying the cities while killing innocents, and burning homes to the ground. In order to stop these heinous atrocities, it’s up to BJ Blazkowicz and his band of Resistance fighters to rise up and cut the Third Reich off at the knees.

While the newest trailer for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus definitely contains loads of gory gameplay and colorful content, Bethesda and MachineGames have previously put out plenty of clips that offer a look at the weapons and implements on-hand for BJ to kill Nazis in a variety of gruesome ways. Not to mention, the companies released a collection of bizarre and unsettling marketing materials that envisioned a world in which the Third Reich controlled American media, with fake TV shows like Trust in BrotherGerman… Or Else!, and Blitzmensch.

All things considered, it seems as if Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is set to provide gamers with an intense, albeit zany experience once it releases next month for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and when it launches next year for Nintendo Switch. And with a little more than a month to go before it hits store shelves, Bethesda and MachineGames could put out even more promotional assets for the title that winds up pushing the envelope and further enticing fans.
